Black and Purple Engagement Gift

My nephew engagement day will be held at the end of this month.  I'm going to make his engagement gift with black and purple theme.  As for Malay culture, both parties (bride and groom) will need to do an exchange gift, we called it as a "hantaran".  The hantaran not just only during engagement day  but also during the wedding ceremony.  The hantaran for my nephew still not ready yet, I will post a final hantaran photos soon.

Birthday Goodies

This year I made my daughter's birthday goodies for her schoolmate a bit different.  It was a last minute ideas and I'm just using stuff around my house only.  I'm using crepe paper as a wrapper for snacks, and wrapped it like a sweet.  Pretty simple and easy to do and your kids will love it.
cut colourful crepe paper to a rectangle shape, any size will do, depend on how many snack/sweet you want to put inside.

tools we need - scissor, cellophane tape and wire to tie

put snack/sweet  inside a plastic bag

then wrap snack/sweet with a crepe paper like a sweet, as above
tadaaaa......this is the "Sweet Goodies Pack"

Wolf Village

"Kampung Serigala" meaning is a Wolf Village.  Found this village at north of Selangor state in Hulu Bernam  district. Actually, I found this village when I got a bit lost during my way to Sabak Bernam.  Just imagine that, when I passed by this place it's pretty scary... in my head I'm only remember one of the Twilight Zone story.  I didn't see any houses at all, only palm oil plantation and suddenly this signboard appeared.  OmG, hopefully werewolf will not appear in front of me.   Anyway, I safely arrived at Sabak Bernam even it's almost dark. Anybody know something on this village.  Maybe we can share.  Daa.......

Japan PM met Mr. Obama

This is a story from the Japanese Embassy in the US and tells us about the necessity of learning English in today's world. About Yoshiro Mori A few weeks ago, Prime Minister Mori was given some Basic English conversation training before he visited Washington and met president Barack Obama... The instructor told the Prime Minister, "When you shake hands with President Obama, please say 'How are you?'. Then Mr. Obama should answer, 'I am fine, and you?' Now, you should say 'Me too'. Afterwards we, translators, will do the work for you." It looks quite simple, but the truth is... When Mori met Obama , he mistakenly said 'Who are you?' (Instead of 'How are you?')
Mr. Obama was a bit shocked but still managed to react with humor: 'Well, I'm Michelle's husband, ha-ha!' Then Mori replied 'Me too, ha-ha!' Then there was a long silence in the meeting room...

Say Yes To Homestay

During my recent visit to Perak state. I'm able to find a very convenient homestay at Kamunting, Taiping.  This is my first experience at homestay.  Even it's my first trial but I'm lucky because I'd chosen the right accommodation.  At first I'm a bit worry with house condition since I'm unable to see the homestay photo.  Since this is a newly open homestay, so the owner not yet to upload in the Internet.  It's a single storey house with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.  The house is very  clean, fully furnish with complete kitchenware for cookingRental for one night is RM180, pretty reasonable huh! for 4 bedrooms house.  I think homestay also a very good option for your holiday. I give 4 stars to Annur Homestay.
