The Touch of the Green

What's a home!  What surrounds your home is just as important as what is in it.  The exterior landscape needs the same attention like an interior design.  The owner, Lynn and Mai complement their home's architectural design with well designed tropical landscape.  Surrounding with a dramatic beautiful landscape makes you feel in a resort home. My first step to the bungalow, the touch of the green fulfills the space of the house in every single corner. A very impressive and inspiring concept of  a modern tropical interior design.  I just love the earth tone colour chosen for this bungalow. Credit to the owner again, for allowing my lens to appreciate their lovely bungalow house and thanks again for allowing us to stay one night  at their house recently.  I'm so excited to visit their house since this bungalow had been published in  "Impiana" and "Laman" magazine.  Let's find out what I got from my  lens' angle.......(sorry a very amateur photographer..he..he..he...).

Visit to Bali

Bali is an internationally known tourist destination.  For muslim travellers, even though there are not many restaurants serve halal menu but still u can find one if you do some searches prior to you visit. Halal restaurants are either typical "minang" or "sunda"  type of restaurants. The hotel rates are mostly a little bit on higher side if you don't do much study prior to your visit. Bali has  beautiful landscapes, sceneries, serene tranquility, and offers a lot to tourists especially the scuba fraternities and it is a paradise for surfers. Southern coastal of Bali is a perfect spot for the surfers, and those who love scuba diving activities there are lot of such spots along the north easterly coast of Bali . The rural lifestyle and culture of the people of Bali can be considered as unique. Here are lensed views from our recent visit to this famous island.

Never laugh at a Chinese businessman!

A Chinese man walks into a bank in New York City and asks for the loan
officer. He tells the loan officer that he
is going to China on business for two weeks and needs to borrow $5,000.
The bank officer tells him that the bank will need some form of security for
the loan, so the Chinese man hands over the keys to a new Ferrari parked on
the street in front of the bank. He produces the title and everything checks
out.
The Loan officer agrees to accept the car as collateral for the loan. The
bank's president and its officers all enjoy a good laugh at the Chinese for
using a $250,000 Ferrari as collateral against a $5,000 loan.
An employee of the bank then drives the Ferrari into the bank's underground
garage and parks it there.
Two weeks later, the Chinese returns, repays the $5,000
and the interest, which comes to $15.41.
The loan officer says, 'Sir, we are very happy to have had your business,
and this transaction has worked out very nicely, but we are a little
puzzled. While you were away, we checked you out and found that you are
a multi-millionaire. What puzzles us is why you would bother to borrow
$5,000? The Chinese replies: 'Where else in New York City can I park my car
for two weeks for only $15.41 and expect it to be there safely when I
return.
